Grandma as maid of honour, godfather playing the church organ, Mum doing the church reading and brother as best man… We think it’s fair to say that this classic navy and pale pink wedding was a true family affair.
Married in Sussex in the magnificent South Lodge Hotel, the gorgeous Lucy and Jamie created an elegant countryside wedding teaming with so many thoughtful touches we’re struggling to name but a few….
One of my favourite things was that they used guest’s nicknames on their place settings, complete with quirky anecdotes about each and every one of them… If that’s not an icebreaker we don’t know what is! And talking of ice… they even had a vintage ice cream tricycle to keep guests cool in the summer sun.
We must also mention Lucy’s exquisite dress… During her quest to find the perfect dress, Lucy had found three designs that she quite liked; each one had an element that she loved but she knew that none of them were totally right.
So what’s a girl to do? Get Stephanie Allin to create her a bespoke couture dress incorporating all three elements of course! Finished off with fabulous Louboutin shoes and Jenny Packham jewellery we think you’ll agree that Lucy looked every inch the fairytale bride.
